2025 NYSC Batch ‘B’ Orientation Begins Nationwide

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially commenced the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course across all states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory, marking the beginning of the service year journey for thousands of Nigerian graduates.
At the Lagos Orientation Camp in Iyana-Ipaja, activities began in full swing as Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) deployed to the state arrived to a warm reception led by the NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang.
Mrs. Salmwang personally welcomed the PCMs at the camp gate and undertook a monitoring tour of the camp facilities. She addressed the Corps Members with a motivational message, urging them to embrace the orientation experience with dedication and discipline. Refreshments were also provided to ease their arrival process.

Camp officials, already positioned in various units, began the registration procedures immediately, attending to PCMs through the different stages of documentation, medical screening, and accommodation allocation. The State Coordinator also interacted with the officials, encouraging them to sustain the tempo of professionalism and efficiency established in earlier briefings.
The orientation exercise, which will run for three weeks, is a critical component of the NYSC programme aimed at fostering unity, national integration, and preparing Corps Members for the responsibilities ahead in their places of primary assignment.
Similar activities are taking place simultaneously in NYSC orientation camps across the 36 states and the FCT, with state coordinators nationwide overseeing the smooth takeoff of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream I exercise.
