Mercy Johnson Clarifies Viral Cancer Scare Clip, Assures Fans She Is Medically Stable
Award-winning Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson Okojie has responded to a resurfaced viral clip in which she discussed her battle with a cancer scare.
The clip reemerged amid growing speculation over the actress’s noticeable weight loss, which had sparked widespread concern.
In the video, Mercy Johnson revealed she had her thyroid removed following a cancer scare and has since been placed on lifelong medication. However, she has now clarified that the clip was taken out of context due to editing.
Providing an update on her health, the mother of four assured fans that she is medically stable and doing well. She further explained that the cancer scare was related to a swelling in her neck.
“Thank you so much for all of your calls and your messages. The clip was cut. I said I’ve a cancer scare means that I’ve this swelling on my neck,” she stated.
