18-year-old boy allegedly impregnates 10 girls in Anambra

An 18-year-old boy has allegedly impregnated no fewer than 10 girls in Anambra State.
The boy’s mother reported the matter to the Office of the Commissioner for Women Affairs in Awka.
In response, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Welfare, Mrs Ify Obinabo, has raised the alarm, seeking solutions to the unusual situation.
According to the Commissioner, the teenager, who was sent to learn a trade as an apprentice, impregnated his boss’s daughter and a salesgirl. After being dismissed, he allegedly impregnated eight more girls in his village within two months.
Mrs Obinabo shared a live video on social media, asking the public for advice, as the case was beyond her capacity.
“This problem is beyond me because of the boy’s age and the number of pregnant girls involved. That’s why I need help to solve it,” she lamented.
The boy’s mother explained that whenever she saw a girl approaching their house, her heart would race, having received multiple complaints from different girls.
When questioned about how he persuaded the girls, the boy claimed he simply told them he loved them and promised to marry them once he became wealthy. .
