Police Zone 13 Appoints New Zonal Police Spokesman

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chidera Samuel Oha has assumed duty as the new Zonal Police Public Relations Officer (ZPPRO) of Zone 13 Police Headquarters, Ukpo, in Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The appointment, approved by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PhD, NPM, is aimed at strengthening effective communication, promoting transparency and improving public confidence in police activities across the zone.
ASP Oha, who hails from Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State, was commissioned into the Nigeria Police Force in 2021 after graduating from the Nigeria Police Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.
He has undergone several professional and specialised training programmes, including a Combat Operations and Counter-Terrorism Course at the Police Mobile Force Training School, Ila-Orangun, Osun State; a Basic Detective Course in Wudil, Kano State; and a Police Refresher Course at the National Institute of Police Studies (NIPS), Abuja.
After his presidential commissioning, ASP Oha was posted to the Anambra State Police Command, where he completed his mandatory one-year attachment at the Central Police Station (CPS), Awka. He later served as a Crime Officer at CPS Awka and subsequently at B Division, Awka, where he worked as a Patrol and Guard Officer.
With his operational experience and professional background, ASP Oha is expected to enhance information management, strengthen media relations and deepen public engagement in Zone 13, while building on the achievements of his predecessors.
