Ikwo youths under the banner of the Ikwo Noyo Youth Consultative Forum (INYCF) have expressed shock over the abduction and killing of HRH Eze Francis Igwe, a respected first-class traditional ruler.
In a statement, the forum described the act as “wicked, envious, and brutal,” calling on government and security agencies to ensure that justice is served. The group also urged Ikwo youths to avoid participating in such criminal acts, whether instigated by insiders or outsiders, stressing that such behavior goes against community values.
The INYCF further called on residents to report unusual activities in their communities to help prevent future crimes. The forum pledged full cooperation with authorities in bringing the perpetrators to justice.
“May the soul of our revered leader rest in peace. We demand justice and pray such acts are never repeated in our land,” the statement added.
