Chelsea Have Signed Alejandro Garnacho From Manchester United For £40 Million

Chelsea have finalized the signing of Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho in a deal worth £40 million. The 21-year-old has agreed to a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge, with United securing a 10 per cent sell-on clause.
The transfer follows United manager Ruben Amorim informing Garnacho that he was not in the club’s plans for the 2025/26 season.
Garnacho joins Chelsea as the latest addition to a squad that has already welcomed Liam Delap, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens, Jorrel Hato, and pre-agreed signings Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, and Kendry Paez.
On his move, Garnacho told Chelsea’s website: “It’s an incredible moment for my family and I to join this great club. I can’t wait to get started. To join the world champions is special, we’re the best team in the world! It’s amazing to be here and I’m very happy.”
