The Chairman of C-Sagas Group and Founder of the C-Sagas Charity Foundation, Christian Asaga Nwali, has condemned the brutal killing of the traditional ruler of Ndufu Alike in Ebonyi State, Eze Francis Igwe, describing the act as a serious attack on peace and traditional institutions.
Nwali made the condemnation during a condolence visit to the family of the late monarch, accompanied by members of the foundation’s management team, government officials, business associates, and other well-wishers.
The revered royal father, who was also the father of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State, was reportedly murdered in an incident that has sent shockwaves across the state and beyond.
Speaking during the visit, Nwali described the late monarch as a symbol of unity, peace and cultural pride whose leadership positively impacted his community.
“Eze Francis Igwe was a symbol of unity, peace and cultural pride. His tragic death is deeply painful, and we strongly condemn this cruel act. Violence against community leaders and custodians of tradition must never be tolerated,” he said.
He also commended the Ebonyi State Government and security agencies for their swift response to the incident and urged them to ensure that those responsible are brought to justice.
The late traditional ruler was widely respected for his role in promoting unity, development and cultural preservation in his community.
Nwali, however, assured the bereaved family and the people of Ndufu Alike of his solidarity during the period of mourning, expressing hope that justice will prevail and that the legacy of the late monarch will continue to inspire peace and progress in the Ikwo Noyo clan and beyond.
