
The body of former President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua Airport in Katsina State ahead of his burial.
The late president’s remains were flown in from London on Tuesday morning aboard a Nigerian presidential aircraft.
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was on ground to receive the body upon arrival. Earlier, he had directed Vice-President Kashim Shettima and his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, to travel to the United Kingdom to accompany the body back to Nigeria.
