President Bola Tinubu today held a closed-door meeting with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
In attendance were the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency, Mohammed Mohammed; and the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Nigerian Army, General Emmanuel Undianeye.
The rest were the Director General of the Department of State Services, Oluwatosin Ajayi, and the Chief of Staff to the President, Dr Femi Gbajabiamila.
The reason and the outcome of the meeting were not made known to the newsmen.
The meeting might not be unconnected to the recent string of security issues in Borno, Plateau, and Benue States, in which many citizens lost their lives, with many others losing their homes and property.
