The lawmaker representing Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency, Chinedu Ogah, has presented a federal employment letter to a constituent, Mr. Anyigor Uche Imor, amid controversy surrounding a recently published list of beneficiaries by his media office.

Ogah presented the letter on Sunday at the beneficiary’s residence in Abakaliki, noting that Imor is the 14th beneficiary of his employment facilitation efforts for the month of March.

The development comes following an investigation by Naija News Today, which alleged that some individuals listed as beneficiaries in the job publication disowned the claims and raised concerns over discrepancies in the list released by the Chinedu Ogah Media Center.

The report has generated reactions within the constituency, with questions being raised over the authenticity of the employment list.

However, Ogah, who also serves as Chairman of the House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, insisted during the presentation that his efforts at facilitating employment for constituents remain credible and consistent.

He congratulated the beneficiary and urged him to utilise the opportunity to improve his livelihood and contribute positively to society.

The lawmaker also reaffirmed his commitment to creating employment opportunities and advancing human capital development in Ikwo/Ezza-South Federal Constituency, despite the ongoing controversy.
