Christian Asaga Nwali has praised Ikwo youths for their trust, unity, and peaceful conduct, describing their actions as a strong reflection of collective commitment to progress and responsible civic engagement.
Speaking in response to their recent endorsement of his senatorial ambition, Nwali expressed gratitude for the solidarity shown by the youths both at home and in the diaspora.
He noted that their orderly and respectful approach demonstrates political maturity and a shared vision for the development of Ikwo and the wider Ebonyi Central zone.
“I appreciate your belief in me, your firm support, and your genuine love,” he said, commending what he called their “civilised conduct and high level of respect for leaders and constituted authorities.”
The endorsement, which also came with a 20-day ultimatum to political stakeholders, underscores the growing influence of youth voices in local politics.
However, Nwali emphasized that beyond the political message, the manner in which it was delivered stands out as a model for constructive engagement.
He assured the youths that their concerns and aspirations have been clearly heard and that he would consult widely with relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate action is taken.
Nwali added that such unity and discipline among young people remain critical to achieving sustainable development and strengthening democratic values in Ebonyi State.
