Lagos Corps Members Win NITDA Digital Literacy 4All National Competition

Two corps members serving in Lagos State have been honoured for emerging winners in the Digital Literacy 4All (DL4ALL) national competition organised by the National Information Technology Development Agency.

The awards were presented during a brief ceremony held at the NYSC Lagos State Secretariat in Surulere, where the State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps in Lagos, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, presented cheques to the awardees on behalf of NITDA.

The winners, Nomamiukor Becky (LA/25A/12745) and Adeyemi Folake Lydia (LA/25A/12746), clinched the Category B and Category C Regional Awards respectively for their outstanding participation in the nationwide digital literacy competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Salmwang congratulated the corps members for distinguishing themselves and demonstrating commitment to promoting digital literacy within their host communities. She urged them to sustain the spirit of excellence and continue contributing meaningfully to digital inclusion and national development.

The Digital Literacy 4All initiative is designed to promote technology awareness and equip Nigerians with essential digital skills needed to thrive in today’s technology-driven world.

Officials present at the event included Assistant Director, Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED), Ehimwenma Itohan; Head of Community Development Service (CDS), Odiekhandu Chioma; Personal Assistant to the State Coordinator, Uguru Ezinne; and the DL4ALL Schedule Officer, Fatoki Bukola.
