Ebonyi Graduate Trekking to Meet Davido Reaches Asaba on Day 12

A young graduate from Ebonyi State, Nworie Obinna Jasper has continued to draw nationwide attention as he presses on with his ambitious trek to meet Afrobeats superstar Davido.
The determined fan, who reportedly began his journey from Abakaliki, the capital of Ebonyi State, is walking all the way to Lagos State with the sole aim of seeing the award-winning singer in person.
As of today — the 12th day of his journey — the young man has arrived in Asaba, the capital of Delta State, marking a significant milestone in the long-distance trek from the South-East to the South-West region of the country.

The story, earlier reported by Naija News Today, has continued to gain traction across social media platforms, with photos and videos of the trekker surfacing online. Supporters have praised his courage, determination, and loyalty as a devoted fan of Davido, while others have expressed concern about the physical and safety challenges associated with such a demanding journey.
Observers note that the distance between Ebonyi and Lagos spans several states and hundreds of kilometres, making the journey both physically exhausting and logistically challenging.
While many Nigerians have applauded the young graduate’s passion and boldness, some commentators have urged well-meaning individuals along his route to offer assistance and ensure his safety as he continues the trek.
As of press time, there has been no official statement from Davido or his management team regarding the fan’s journey. However, many followers remain hopeful that the singer, known for occasionally rewarding loyal fans, may eventually respond to the viral story.
