The wife of the Ebonyi State Governor, Her Excellency, Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, has commended her factory manager, Mrs. Nduka Geraldine Uzoamaka, describing her as dedicated and trustworthy.
Speaking during the wedding Mass of her manager at St. Paul’s Parish, Onuebonyi, on April 11, 2026, Mrs. Nwifuru expressed joy at joining family, friends, and well-wishers to witness the holy matrimony between Miss Geraldine and Mr. Cosmas.
The First Lady noted that she had empowered Mrs. Geraldine over four years ago and has “never regretted” the decision, praising her commitment and effective management of the factory.
“I have never regretted empowering her. She has taken very good care of my factory without any complaints,” she said.
She advised the newlyweds to uphold love, peace, and unity in their marriage, emphasizing that these values are essential for lasting happiness.
The wedding ceremony, held in a solemn and joyful atmosphere, reflected deep faith and commitment as the couple exchanged vows before God and their loved ones.
Mrs. Nwifuru also appreciated the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dr. Abraham Nwali, for his spiritual guidance and the solemn conduct of the Mass. She further congratulated the families of the couple for raising достой individuals and contributing to the success of the event.

As Founder of the Better Health for Rural Women, Children and Internally Displaced Persons Foundation (BERWO), Mrs. Nwifuru graced three wedding ceremonies across different venues, including St. Paul’s Parish Onuebonyi, the Pastoral Centre Abakaliki, and the Christian Ecumenical Centre, demonstrating her commitment to celebrating family and community values.
