A Federal High Court has discharged and acquitted suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari, bringing a major legal battle involving the former senior police officer to an end.

In its ruling, the court held that the prosecution failed to present sufficient evidence to support the charges filed against Kyari. The judge ruled that the allegations did not meet the legal threshold required for conviction under the law.
