Bandits Invade Malumfashi Village in Katsina, Kill Two Youths, Steal Cattle

Armed bandits on Monday evening invaded Layin Minister community in Malumfashi Local Government Area of Katsina State, killing two youths and rustling a large number of cattle.
The attackers stormed the area around nightfall, shooting sporadically and sending residents fleeing for safety before escaping with stolen livestock.
According to a post on Monday by security analyst Bakatsine via X:
“Bandits attacked Layin Minister in Malumfashi LGA of Katsina State on Monday evening. Two youths were killed and a large number of cattle were rustled.” the post read.
A resident who confirmed the incident said the assailants arrived on motorcycles and operated without resistance.
“They came heavily armed and started shooting. Two young men were killed on the spot, and they took away a large number of cattle,” the source said.
