Salmwang Urges Corps Members to Stay Focused,Flags Off Orientation Lectures

The NYSC Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang, has officially flagged off the camp lecture series at the Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja as part of efforts to equip the 2025 Batch A Stream I corps members with essential knowledge for a successful service year
In her address, Mrs. Salmwang emphasized the importance of the lectures, explaining that they are designed to educate corps members on the goals, structure, and values of the NYSC Scheme. She noted that, the camp lectures are aimed at providing practical knowledge to help them navigate and succeed during their service year.
She urged corps members to stay focused, take down important points, and avoid distractions. Mrs. Salmwang particularly warned against the use of mobile phones during lectures to ensure full concentration and proper assimilation of key lessons.
Also speaking, the Head of Lectures and Programmes, Barrister Davidson Oluwayemisi, sensitized corps members on the importance of discipline during lectures. She stressed that lectures would span both morning and afternoon sessions and called for orderliness and respect for camp rules to ensure a smooth learning environment.
