Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has unveiled Sun Day, a new app designed to help users monitor their sun exposure and estimate vitamin D intake.
The launch comes shortly after the release of Bitchat, another innovation from Dorsey that enables messaging without internet access.
Sun Day uses a phone’s location to determine the local UV index, allowing users to manually track their time in the sun and calculate estimated vitamin D levels based on factors such as skin type, clothing, and geographic location.
The app also offers useful data, including sunrise and sunset times, cloud coverage, and personalized burn limits, all based on real-time UV conditions.
