The Nollywood community gathered in Anambra State to pay their final respects to veteran actress Nkechi Nweje, who was laid to rest in her hometown.
The funeral drew a large crowd of family, friends, and industry colleagues, including former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi.
Nweje, who died on March 21, 2025, made a significant mark on Nigerian cinema with her powerful performances in both traditional and modern roles.
