Winners Emerge in 2025 Okpata Ozua Oha Quiz Competition

Ten outstanding students have emerged winners in the 2025 edition of the Okpata Ozua Oha Arts and Science Quiz Competition held in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
The grand finale of the competition took place on Friday, July 19, at the College of Education Complex in Ndufu-Echara, drawing participants, school officials, traditional leaders and community stakeholders from across the state.
Organised by the C-Sagas Charity Foundation and sponsored by High Chief Architect Christian Asaga Nwali, PhD (Okpata Ozua Oha I of Ekpelu), the annual academic contest featured 337 students from 33 public and private secondary schools during its zonal stages.
Following rigorous rounds of assessments and eliminations, 20 finalists competed at the final stage. Five winners each emerged in both the Science and Arts categories.

Science Category:
1st Position: Nwigboji Chinemerem – Community Secondary School, Ndufu-Alike Ikwo
2nd Position: Nwode Victor – Community Secondary School, Abina Ikwo
3rd Position: Obeji Gideon – Brian Secondary School, Agubia
4th Position: Mgbebu Victor – Community Secondary School, Eka-Awoke
5th Position: Elem Chidimma – Community Secondary School, Echialike
Arts Category:
1st Position: Hunter Rhema Williams – Community Secondary School, Ndufu-Alike
2nd Position: Chukwu Confidence – Community Secondary School, Ndufu-Alike
3rd Position: Nkwuda Amarachi – Brain High School, Obegu Inyimagu
4th Position: Nweke Kosisochukwu – St. Martins Academy, Echialike
5th Position: Nwakpu Collins – Seat of Wisdom Secondary School, Ndiofoke Amagu
The competition was conducted under the strict supervision of a panel of university academics, including professors, associate professors and seasoned examiners drawn from tertiary institutions in the state. The organisers said the process was transparent and guided by merit.
