Peller Apologizes on Instagram After Alleged Kidnapping Incident

Nigerian TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has issued a heartfelt message on Instagram following an alleged kidnapping incident.
In the post, Peller wrote:
“If you know I have offended you before, please forgive me. I promise to be on my best behavior this time. To anyone I may have upset, I ask for your forgiveness and pledge to make things right. God bless you all. I don’t mean most of the things I do online—I am a better person in real life. I will step back from social media when the time comes; you can chase me away, but I built this myself. Please handle me with care.”
The message comes after a shocking TikTok livestream on August 27, 2025, in which Peller appeared to be abducted by armed men. The incident sparked widespread concern among his followers. However, the Lagos State Police later confirmed that Peller was safe at home, with all his belongings intact. Authorities are investigating the event to determine whether it was a prank, a staged act, or a genuine kidnapping.
Through his post, Peller expressed remorse for any past actions that may have offended others and promised to improve his behavior. He also hinted at stepping away from social media in the future, while emphasizing his commitment to the community he has built online. Fans and followers have since flooded his page with messages of support, showing solidarity with the influencer after the frightening ordeal.
