Olopade Confirms Super Falcons’ Bonuses Paid, Assures Tinubu’s Pledge Will Be Fulfilled

The Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Bukola Olopade, says all outstanding payments to the Super Falcons have been cleared.
Speaking on Arise TV on Friday, Olopade explained that the bonuses were settled before the team’s final match against Morocco.
“I can confirm authoritatively that all their bonuses have been paid. I spoke with Ajibade yesterday and with the NFF, and everybody is on the same page,” he said.
Olopade, however, noted that a few players might not have received their funds yet due to banking issues involving the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He also assured that President Bola Tinubu’s pledge to the team would be fulfilled. “On the promise of Mr. President, I can assure you that it will be paid,” Olopade stated.
Additionally, the NSC is collaborating with the Minister of Works and Housing to ensure the players receive the houses promised to them.
