The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Lagos State has organized its first morning meditation session for the 2026 Batch A Stream II Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) at the orientation camp in Iyana-Ipaja.
Addressing the corps members, the Camp Director, Beatrice Fayinto, stressed the importance of discipline, tolerance, and strict adherence to NYSC bye-laws.

She reaffirmed the scheme’s commitment to the welfare of all participants, assuring them of a conducive and supportive environment throughout the orientation programme.
Fayinto encouraged the corps members to make the most of the orientation course by building lasting friendships and promoting unity, emphasizing that all PCMs are equal regardless of tribe, background, or social status.
She also noted that the orientation programme is designed to expose participants to a variety of lectures and activities aimed at helping them discover and showcase their talents.
Highlighting the theme, “Diligence: Pathway to Excellence,” she urged corps members to remain focused and committed during their stay in camp.
“Be determined, be dedicated. You will be exposed to different lectures which are part of the NYSC purpose. You will also have time to showcase your talents. We are here together,” she said.

In the same vein, the Head of the Publicity and Protocol Committee, Omolola Aladesoun, led the meditation session, while Aloaye Momoh guided the corps members through the NYSC anthems.
